Childhood ambition: to be a drifter

Fondest memory: discovering the source of the Nile (apparently this is not my memory, but some sort of delusion)

Wildest dream: Being Emperor of the world! or maybe just a Duke.

Proudest moment: Finishing 12th in the 1999 San Francisco mayoral race, running on a platform advocating reduced fog, 4 day work week, and cocktail service on MUNI.

Biggest challenge: juggling five or more balls

First job: Paperboy (the Greenwich Time).

Necessary indulgence: macaroni and cheese.

Favorite destination: bed

Favorite film: Plan 9 from Outer Space

Favorite book: a 1979 Encyclopedia Britannica, "B-Ch." There's a lot of cool stuff that starts with "B."

My perfect cocktail: A Blue Bullwinkle with a twist. Preferably chilled.

Inspiration: Cookie Monster. He has amazing focus.
